In Gaza, suffering is no longer limited to the lack of basic necessities, but has extended to the loss of livelihoods and opportunities for a dignified life. Thousands of families now find themselves without work or income amid the harsh humanitarian and economic conditions, leaving many unable to secure even their most basic daily needs. In response, Ghaith Initiative and Child Appeal Charity launched the “Livelihood Carts” campaign to help the most affected families regain their ability to work and provide for themselves. Through supplying fully equipped mobile vending carts, the campaign enables families to start small businesses that generate sustainable daily income, helping them move from dependence and hardship toward self-reliance and renewed hope for life and stability.
