Project Overview
Amid the widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip and the suspension of many educational and religious institutions, the Imam Al-Bukhari Center for Sharia Sciences and the Holy Qur’an was completely destroyed, forcing the shutdown of its activities and depriving hundreds of students of religious education and a place of worship
With the approach of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Al-Bukhari Light Project aims to rebuild a safe temporary facility for the center using locally available materials, allowing it to once again serve as a hub for learning, prayer, and community support
The project includes providing essential educational supplies, offering symbolic incentives to teachers and students to encourage continuity, and organizing community reconciliation programs to strengthen social harmony
This project is not merely about rebuilding a structure, but about reviving the message of knowledge and worship, and restoring hope to a resilient generation that deserves the chance to learn and rise again
Project Objectives
Reestablish a temporary facility suitable for education and worship within a short period
Resume Qur’anic and religious education for 250 male and female students
Hold daily prayers and Ramadan Taraweeh prayers as a prayer space for the neighborhood
Support teachers and students with symbolic incentives to ensure continuity
📌 With your support, we bring the light of knowledge and the Qur’an back to Gaza 🌙📖
