Water and Warmth for Gaza’s Children | A Lifeline Against Thirst and Cold | Qatra
Palestine Country: Palestine

Project Overview

Amid the harsh humanitarian reality in the Gaza Strip, children are suffering the most. They face the cruelty of winter while living in fragile tents that offer no protection from summer heat or winter cold, alongside a severe shortage of safe drinking water. Children endure thirst during the day and shiver from the cold at night, in a daily reality that threatens their health and lives. As winter arrives for the third consecutive year, conditions continue to worsen for thousands of displaced families living in extremely difficult circumstances, marked by the absence of safe shelter, a lack of clothing and blankets, and no access to heating.

Driven by its humanitarian responsibility, Qatra Foundation launches the campaign “Water and Warmth for Gaza’s Children | A Lifeline Against Thirst and Cold” to deliver a comprehensive humanitarian response targeting displaced children. The campaign provides essential relief interventions, including warm winter clothing, clean and safe drinking water (water relief), as well as food parcels, heating support, and simple shelter repairs—ensuring children are protected from extreme cold and thirst while preserving their health and dignity. The campaign carries a clear message of solidarity to every child in need:
“You are not alone… Our warmth is one.”
