Installing a Solar Energy System for Hadramout Autism School – Supporting Continuous Learning
Yemen Country: Yemen

Project Overview

Hadramout Autism School is a vital center dedicated to educating and rehabilitating children with autism, relying heavily on electricity to operate essential educational and therapeutic devices. However, frequent power outages disrupt therapy sessions, deactivate interactive learning tools, and create an unstable environment that hinders students’ progress.

This project aims to equip the school with a comprehensive solar energy system that provides a stable and reliable power source, ensuring uninterrupted educational and therapeutic programs while improving the learning environment for children with special needs.

Project Objectives

  • Install a 25 kW solar energy system to cover 100% of the school’s electricity needs for 6 hours daily.

  • Ensure continuous operation of rehabilitation and therapy programs without interruption.

  • Improve the educational environment by providing stable lighting and ventilation.

  • Promote awareness of the importance of renewable energy in supporting education and humanitarian services.
